The Haemodialysis Association Klang (HAK) was established in 1996 as a community service project by the Rotary Club of Klang. Since then, it has grown into a fully equipped dialysis centre operating from its own premises, featuring state-of-the-art technology and a team of qualified, trained healthcare professionals.
Today, HAK supports over 70 patients, operating three shifts daily and providing approximately 12,000 dialysis treatments each year. To ensure the highest standards of patient safety and treatment quality, the centre uses single-use dialyzers.
The centre is staffed by a committed team of administrative personnel, nurses, and nursing aides, led by an Operations Manager and a Dialysis Clinical Manager, under the supervision of our Nephrologists. With treatment fees that are significantly lower than most private centres, HAK remains committed to making dialysis care affordable.
The centre also supports patients in obtaining government financial assistance through agencies such as PERKESO, KKM, and Iltizam Selangor Sihat.
HAK is overseen by a Management Committee of twelve Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Klang, who manage the centre’s operations and guide its development. The committee also organises fundraising initiatives and community outreach programmes to sustain the centre and raise awareness about kidney health and dialysis care.

To be a trusted provider of quality kidney care, improving the lives of our patient through compassionate treatment and support.
We are dedicated to offering affordable and reliable dialysis services, ensuring every patient receives the care in a safe , comfortable environment.
We believe in treating every patient with respect and kindness, focusing on their health and well-being. Our goal is to provide effective care that supports both physical health and emotional comfort, helping patients live better lives.
Haemodialysis cleans your blood when your kidneys can’t. Blood is pumped through a machine to remove waste, usually 3 times a week for 4 hours. Another type, peritoneal dialysis, uses your abdominal lining to filter blood up to 4 times a day.
“The staff treat us with care and respect.”
